Many people in the Lincoln and Helmville areas may thought the shake they felt just after 10 a.m. Sunday was just a particularly strong gust of wind, or maybe a heavy pile of snow sliding off their roof, but it was actually the first in a series of small earthquakes that rattled Lincoln and the Nevada Creek Valley.
