Seasonal weight limits in effect on Lincoln streets

Seasonal weight restrictions on several area streets went into effect earlier than normal this year due to the impact of ongoing freeze/thaw cycles.

The restrictions, which began Feb. 10, last through March 31 and are meant to minimize the impact of heavy loads on paved roads that are susceptible to potholes.
