Be kind and unwind during the free Leap of Kindness celebration

Experience Montana history for free February 28-29 as the Montana Historical Society waives its admission fee during the two-day Leap of Kindness celebration.

Be one of the first to experience the new “Good Beer Here” exhibit, which traces the path of Montana’s complicated yet longtime love affair with brewing beer. The exhibit walks visitors through the earliest brewing years, through prohibition, and the most recent explosion of microbrewing in Montana. It also explores the synergies between beer and agriculture as Montana rose to become an industry leader in barley productions.

Don’t miss the hands-on gallery for the young and the young at heart, to learn more about the historic role of horses and traditional toys.

The Original Governor’s Mansion at 304 No. Ewing St. in Helena also will waive its entry fees on the two days.

The Leap of Kindness Day is being promoted by the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce as a way for organizations to do something kind for others. The chamber will track and share the acts using the hashtag #HelenaLeaps.
