Deputy's Log: Aug. 30-Sept. 6

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received thirty-six calls for service during the week of Aug. 30 to Sept. 6, 2020.

Deputies performed six traffic stops and one civil service in the Lincoln area.

Three of those calls generated a case report last week:

A Deputy responded to the 100 block of Spring Creek Lane for a report of a nuisance dog, Sunday, Aug. 30th. The dog was reportedly chasing the complainant's cat. Later, the dog owner was served a notice to appear for nuisance dog.

A Deputy responded to the 900 block of North Second St. Tuesday, Sept. 1 for a report of found property. The property has been linked to a prior case as possible evidence.

Deputies responded to the 1500 block of E MT Highway 200 for a report of a suicidal male Saturday, Sept. 5.  The male was later detained and transported to St. Peter's emergency room for a mental health evaluation.    Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were two 911 hang-ups, one agency assist, one non-injury crash, one animal complaint, three criminal mischief calls, one disturbance, one extra patrol, one false alarm, one road hazard, one investigative call, one protection order violation, two property calls, one suspicious circumstance, two trespass issues, and four welfare checks completed.

Lincoln ambulance responded to two calls for service.

Winter is coming. Well, first fall, but then winter.

I'd like to remind individuals going south for the winter to give us a call and sign up for our extra patrol program.

Another handy tool for you and law enforcement is a website called Report It.  The address is http://www.reportit.leadsonline.com. We use Leadsonline for investigation purposes. Report It allows the user to create a free account and log all of your personal property into a data base to include a photograph of the items. In case of a break-in or theft, you would be able to print of the item sheet and share with law enforcement. Your information is never shared with law enforcement unless you share it. We are not affiliated with this website and we do not have administrative access.
