Deputy's Log: Sept. 6-12

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received thirty-seven calls for service during the week of Sept. 6 to Sept. 12, 2020.

Deputies performed four traffic stops in the Lincoln area.

Two of those calls generated a case report last week: Deputies responded to a report of a deceased male Sept.8 in the 400 block of Stemple Pass Rd. The incident was not suspicious in nature, but the death investigation is still active through the cor-oner's division.

A deputy responded to a report of a stolen vehicle Sept. 12 in the 500 block of Main St. The vehicle was later located and returned to the registered owner.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were five 911 hang-ups, four non-injury crashes, one campground check, two citizen assists, one disorderly individual, one false alarm, one inves-tigative call for service, one privacy call for service, two property calls, one theft report, and one welfare check completed.

Lincoln ambulance responded to three medical calls and Lincoln Fire responded to five calls for service.

Winter is coming. Well, first fall but then winter. I'd like to re-mind individuals going south for the winter to give us a call and sign up for our extra patrol program. Another handy tool for you and law enforcement is a website called Report It. The address is http://www.reportit.leadsonline.com. We use Leadsonline for investiga-tion purposes. Report It allows the user to create a free account and log all of your personal property into a data base to include a photograph of the items. In case of a break-in or theft, you would be able to print of the item sheet and share with law enforcement. Your information is never shared with law enforcement unless you share it. We are not affiliated with this website and we do not have administrative access.
