Letter: Thanks to the BVD

Thanks to the BVD for supporting its community and businesses.

Our small town newspaper is one of the foundations of our community and I am thankful to have it. There are so many things I would never know about the what's happening around town even though we live and work right in town now. This is especially true of things going on in the state and in our county that pertain to Lincoln but wouldn't be brought to our attention without our local paper.

I, personally, would love to hear more about things around town from the people here. Stories, thoughts, wildlife viewings, Lincoln history...the people make up the town and the more we share, the more we can build our community spirit. Because we truly have a unique community, differences and all. The people here are crazy and wonderful and always there when someone needs a hand. Let's build on that side of Lincoln in as many ways as we can - together!
