Deputy's Log Oct. 25-31

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received fourteen calls for service during the week of Oct. 25 to Oct. 31, 2020.

Deputies performed one civil service and one traffic stop in the Lincoln area.

Two of those calls generated a case report last week.

Wednesday, Oct. 28: A deputy responded to the 600 block of D St. for a report of criminal mischief. The complainant stated someone had run into his green metal gate. The deputy confirmed the gate was destroyed by a vehicle at the corner of D St. and 8th Avenue. If you have any information about this crash, please contact Deputy Rivera.

Saturday, October 31: A deputy received a phone call from a concerned citizen reporting a drunk driver. The driver was seen leaving the liquor store stumbling and almost crashed while pulling out of the parking lot. The deputy later caught up with the driver. After an investigation was thoroughly completed, the driver was arrested for DUI and later transported to the detention center in Helena.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were four 911 hang-ups, one attempt to locate, two fish and game calls, one road hazard and one trespass issue.

Lincoln Fire responded to one call for service.
