Deputy's Log

Oct. 31- Nov. 13

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received 43 calls for service during the weeks of Oct. 31 to Nov. 13 in the Lincoln area. Seven of those calls were traffic stops performed by deputies.

Three of those calls for service generated a case report in the last two weeks:

A deputy pulled over a male near mile marker 73 on Highway 200 for speeding Nov. 8. The deputy later suspected the male was under the influence of alcohol and performed a DUI investigation. The male was ultimately arrested for aggravated DUI and transported to the detention center in Helena.

Deputies responded to a possible assault on Strandskov Road, Nov. 8. The complainant stated a male was stabbed multiple times by another male. The stabbing suspect fled the scene before deputies arrived from Helena. An unrelated male was arrested for a no contact order violation. The next day, the stabbing suspect was found and arrested for tampering with evidence, a felony. This incident remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division.

A deputy responded to the top of Flesher Pass Nov. 10 for a report of an unresponsive male. The deputy arrived on scene and it was confirmed the male was deceased. The incident was not suspicious in nature and the investigation was turned over to the Coroner’s Division.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area were five 911 hang-ups, one roll over crash, two non-injury crashes, one citizen assist, two civil calls, two domestic disturbances, two drug calls, one extra patrol request, one false alarm, two investigative calls, one privacy in communications, two suspicious circumstances, one tech call and five welfare checks completed.

Lincoln Fire responded to one call for service and Lincoln Ambulance responded to five.
