Thank You Lincoln for supporting Fireman's Ball

We would like to thank all of the generous folks and businesses from Lincoln, Helena, Missoula and Great Falls, and all the areas in between, for donating either money or auction items.

We couldn't make our department what it is without your help! We would also like to thank all the wonderful people that helped put it on. Jackie, Kathy, Diane, Ellie, and Susan back in the kitchen with the 8th grade middle school class making food magic back in the kitchen. KD, Hayes and Jim out back burnin' some phenomenal steaks. Wendi for stepping in, tightening up our auctions items, and making them look sharp, and of course our awesome auctioneer! Thanks Kevin.

Thank you to the Shades of Blue band for playing some great tunes and keeping the floor hopping. D&D for getting us all that food, especially those nice steaks, and Diane for always making those rolls. Can't get enough of them. Can't forget the Wheel Inn for jumping in last minute to run the bar for us. Just wouldn't be the same without some adult beverages to loosen things up. And of course, all the folks who spent their hard earned money to support our function by bidding and buying those wonderful donations.

It's amazing to see how everyone can come together to help a great cause, even in the horrible economic times we are facing. It was a lot more successful than we imagined, with prices for everything so high.

We can't thank you enough. I'm sorry if I forgot to name anyone that helped. There are so many that pitch in and make it happen.

It's been a while since we've been able to have a Ball because of Covid and we were a little rusty, not to mention it being the first one without Teresa here reminding me of all the things I always forget. But I have to say, it went pretty darn well. I'm very thankful for Jackie and Kathy's help and reminders. I would have forgotten numerous things if it wasn't for them. We have a lot of new faces on the department, so it was a first for a lot of them as well.

We enjoyed having the summer get together but it doesn't take the place of the Ball. We plan on having another summer event at Hooper, but it will be more of a BBQ fun day- depending on how fire season shapes up. We will keep you posted.

Again, thank you all for your support.
