Forest Service Offices Closed in Observance of Veterans Day

HELENA, MONT., November 6, 2018-The Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest offices will be closed on Monday, November 12th in observance of Veterans Day; offices will reopen on Tuesday, November 13th.

Whenever Forest Service offices are closed, firewood permits and/or forest visitor maps can be purchased at one of the following locations, during their regular business hours:

Augusta: Allen's Manix Store

Choteau: Rex's Food Farm

*Elliston: Elliston Store

Great Falls: Scheels Sports and North 40 Outfitters

Harlowton: Wheatland County Sherriff's Department

*Helena: South's Market, Broadwater Market, Rockhand Hardware, and Capital Sports and Western

Hobson: Nancy's Country Market

Lewistown: Sports Center

*Lincoln: Grizzly Hardware

Neihart: Neihart Inconvenience Store

Stanford: By-Way Service

*Townsend: Town & Ranch True Value

Vaughn: Valley Country Store (Eli's Sinclair Station)

White Sulphur Springs: Meagher County Sherriff's Department

*These are the only vendors/locations that sell forest maps.
