Deputy's Log JUNE 2 -8

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received twenty-three Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of June 2 through June 8th.

Six of those Calls for Service were traffic stops performed in and around the Lincoln area by deputies.

Deputies opened two new investigations this week:

Tuesday, June 4, in the 4000 block of Sherlock Lane, a deputy took a theft report. The complainant reported items were being stolen from the front of their property. The Deputy has suspects and this investigation is still open.

Saturday, June 8, in the 100 block of Spring Creek Lane, a deputy took a report of fraud. The complainant reported their social security number may have been used fraudulently. This investigation is still ongoing.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were three suspicious circumstance calls, two fish and game calls, one possible driving under the influence call, two disturbance calls, one non-injury accident, one animal call, one 911 hang-up, and deputies served one civil. Lincoln Ambulance responded to one medical call last week.

Private property trespass has been an issue that has come up over the last two weeks. Make sure you are aware of signs posted when driving over cattle guards or walking into tree lines. If you see orange spray paint in or around property you are walking through, most of the time it is private and they do not want you there. It is always best to know before you go.
