Deputy's Log July 14 - 20

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received thirty-one Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of July 14 through July 20, 2019.  Eleven of those Calls for Service were traffic stops performed in and around the Lincoln area by deputies.  Deputies also complete one VIN inspection.

One call for service last week generated a case report:

Around 2:33 a.m. Sunday, July 14, in the 400 block of Main Street, deputies responded to a possible road rage incident. The complainant stated a male driver was attempting to run her and her friend off the road.  After further investigation, the incident turned out to be a domestic issue between a husband and wife.  The husband was later arrested for two counts of criminal endangerment and one count of partner/family member assault.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were two 911 hang up calls, two non-injury crashes, two animal complaints, one attempt to locate, one disorderly call, one extra patrol request, one false alarm call, one family disturbance call, one fish and game call, one property call, one suspicious call, and three welfare checks completed.  Lincoln Ambulance responded to two medical calls for service.

We have another expected busy weekend ahead. The Sheriff's Office will have extra staff in the area to ensure a safe and smooth event weekend in Lincoln.  I would like to remind everyone to please drink responsibly and call for a sober ride home if you have to.  Otherwise, I hope everyone enjoys the car show!
