Deputy's Log Aug. 25-31

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received twenty-seven Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of Aug. 25 through Aug. 31, 2019.

Six of those Calls for Service were traffic stops and three were civil services performed in and around the Lincoln area by deputies.

One call for service generated a case report last week:

At around 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, in the 500 block of Main Street, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a male observed speeding. The male was later identified as a wanted person out of another state and arrested on a warrant

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were one 911 hang-up, one agency assist, one non-injury crash, two animal complaints, one attempt to locate, three citizen assist, one disturbance, one drug complaint, one extra patrol request, two runaway complaints, three suspicious circumstances.

School has started and is at full swing, which means more tiny humans running around during the morning and afternoon than usual. Traffic violations will be enforced more strictly during drop off and pick-up times. Remember, fines double in a school zone, similar to a construction zone. Lets all work together as a community to ensure our little ones make it to school and back, safe and sound.
