Lady Lynx sail away with decisive Homecoming win over Victor Pirates

If the Victor Pirates were anxious to get back to the Bitterroot ahead of the snow storm, the Lady Lynx accommodated their early departure with a speedy win: 25-10, 25-11, 18 - 25 and 25-17 in the Homecoming varsity match-up.

The first two sets were blow-out, lopsided victories for Lincoln. Set three presented more challenges but Alexis Cannon and Andrea LaManna were keeping their blocks and kills warmed up for the final 25-17 victory in set four.

Stats were impressive with 26 kills (those spikes over the net that really fire up the fans) for the team, including 11 for Cannon and eight for LaManna

Sage Kamps helped the team effort with 21 set assists and four digs, and LaManna had five blocks. Meanwhile, five-foot-two inch sophomore Alyvia Blotkamp had four ace serves.

After so many close call loses, this Homecoming win tasted sweet for fans and players alike.
