Obituary: Alan Lee Brown

On June 29, 2020 Alan Lee Brown went to be with the Lord.

He was born on Oct. 20, 1962 to Richard and Florence Brown in Fort Belknap, Mont. Shortly after Al was born the family moved to Butte where Al was raised along with his seven siblings.

Al spent most of his life in Butte until he met the love of his life Ranae Brown, and moved to Lincoln to build a life with her.

Al was a very kind, loving, and spiritual person who was generous with his time helping others. One of Al's favorite things in life was spending time with his kids and grandkids, whom he loved deeply.

Al also enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. When Al wasn't spending time outdoors or with his family you could find him watching sports and rooting for Duke or the Dallas Cowboys.

Al will be remembered by all as an incredible husband, father, grandfather and friend, and will be missed by so many.

Al is survived by his wife Ranae Brown; sons Matt Wittwer (Ashley) and Kyle Brown; daughters Sarah Swanson and Heather Brown; parents Richard and Rachel Brown; brothers Don, John, and Joe; sisters Vicki, Malinda, Tammy, and Shelia; grandchildren Lacey, Lexi, Cooper, Corbin, Hailey, Caden, Kaedon, Henry, Cruz, and Finley.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Florence Weton.

Please join us for a celebration of Al's life Wednesday, July 8 at 11 a.m. at the Lincoln Baptist Church, 207 Sleepy Hollow Lane. Luncheon to follow.
