Two weeks ago, we ran an excerpt from Gold Pans and Singletrees that detailed the past tribulations face by the Lincoln School District, including the fire that destroyed the school in 1978.

A Great Falls Tribune story from July 26 of that year looked at the challenges the town faced as they considered the options for rebuilding, with the 1978-79 school year fast approaching.
