Deputy's Log: Jan. 31-Feb 13

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received forty-three calls for service during the weeks of January 31st, 2021 to February 13th, 2021 in the Lincoln area.  Deputies performed five traffic stops.   

Five of those calls for service generated a case report in the last two weeks: 

  

A deputy responded to a report of a vicious dog Friday, Feb. 5, in the 300 block of Third Ave. The complainant witnessed a dog attack one of their chickens and kill it inside the chicken coop. The dog owners were contacted and served a Notice to Appear for vicious dog.

A deputy responded to a report of a deceased male Saturday, Feb. 6, in the 2000 block of Lincoln Springs Drive. The death was natural in nature and the investigation was taken over by the coroner's division.

A deputy responded to a report of break-ins at a storage unit in the 100 block of Sixth Avenue, Tuesday, Feb. 9. The incident happened two nights in a row. The investigation is ongoing, and deputies are looking for suspects or leads. If you have any information about this case, please contact a north deputy at your earliest convenience.

A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a male for driving while suspended Friday, Feb. 12. The male was served a notice to appear for driving while suspended.

A deputy responded to the 200 block of Sleepy Hollow Lane Friday, Feb. 12, for a report of stalking. The deputy was able to catch up with the suspect and after an investigation, arrested the suspect on two counts of stalking.  The male was transported to the detention center.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area in the last two weeks were three 911 hang-ups, one injury crash, six non-injury crashes, two administrative calls for service, four citizen assists, one civil, one false alarm, one road hazard, three suspicious circumstances, one theft report, one threats report, two VIN inspections and three welfare checks.

Lincoln Fire responded to one call for service and Lincoln Ambulance responded to four.
