Forkrud named president of Citizens Alliance Bank

Philip R. Forstrom, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Citizens Alliance Bank, has announced that Chad Forkrud has been installed as the Bank's next president. The Board of Directors accepted Chad's application at a meeting held on March 25, 2021. Chad has been acting as interim president after the unfortunate passing of the Bank's previous President, John T. Gill.

The Board of Directors places its confidence in Chad because he understands the culture of the Bank, displays great interpersonal skills, understands credit risk, and knows the independent community banking customer service model.

Chad began his career at Citizens Alliance Bank on November 1, 1995. Chad's most recent permanent position at the Bank was Chief Lending Officer, where he was responsible for managing the lending departments of both our Montana and Minnesota credit markets.

Chad is a 1991 graduate of Holy Angels High School in Richfield, Minnesota, a 1995 Graduate of St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, and a member of the 2016 class of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Chad lives north of Clara City, Minnesota with his wife Carol. He enjoys hunting, fishing, time at the lake and travelling to new places. Chad is the son of Dorothy Forkrud of Clara City and the late Gerald Forkrud.
