Rep. Sara Novak, D-Anaconda, questions Rep. Derek Skees, R-Kalispell during a hearing on House Bill 670 in the Montana House Business and Labor Committee Tuesday. Skees sponsored the bill, which is the first bill seeking to fully implement recreational marijuana to be heard in the Legislature so far. Proponents called the bill "a conservative approach" to implementation, as opposed to House Bill 701, a Gov. Gianforte-backed implementation bill set for a hearing on Wednesday.
