Grants improve communications for Lincoln emergency services

Melody McDonough practices taking blood pressure during the first day of hands-on training for Emergency Medial Technician students. Lead trainer Aaron Birkholz said the training conducted by the Lincoln Volunteer Ambulance has eight students, seven of whom are from Lincoln. Birkholz said they try to hold classes every year, alternating between EMT classes and Emergency Medical Responder classes.
