Deputy's Log

March 20 - April 2

The Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received forty-three calls for service during the weeks of March 20 to April 2 in the Lincoln area. Seven of those calls were a traffic stop performed by deputies. Six of those calls for service generated a case report in the last two weeks:

*A deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle parked in the grass next to the library March 20. The deputy suspected the driver was under the influence and performed a DUI investigation. The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to the Detention Center in Helena.

*A deputy took a theft report at the Co-op March 23. A male stated cash was stolen from his vehicle in front of the casino. The deputy is investigating the incident and has no leads at this time.

*A deputy took a trespass report up Dalton Mtn Road March 27. The deputy forwarded the case to the County Attorney’s office for review.

*A deputy took a cold sexual intercourse without consent call March 27. The incident occurred when the victim was six and has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.

*A deputy took a trespass/ criminal mischief report off of Thunder Road March 30. The complainant reported a male has widened an easement on their land beyond what was allowed. The investigation is on-going at this time.

*On April 2, a deputy took a sexual intercourse without consent report in the 400 block of 8thAvenue. The victim is a juvenile female and the suspect is known by deputies and believed to have left Lincoln. Deputies are working on locating the suspect for questioning.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area were four 911 hang-ups, three agency assists, one roll-over crash, one animal complaint, two citizen assist, one civil, one disorderly complaint, one false alarm, one fish and game complaint, investigative call, one suspicious circumstance, and two vin inspections completed.

Lincoln Ambulance responded to six calls for service and Lincoln Fire responded to three.
